A message from the desk of the Founder & Chairman — Hon. Mr. S. B. Ghatage

The foundation of any great institution lies in the vision, dedication, and values of the individuals who build it. With a strong belief in integrity, discipline, and purpose-driven education, I began this journey with the aim of creating meaningful opportunities for students and contributing to society through quality education.

Over the years, our efforts have been focused on establishing institutions that not only impart knowledge but also shape character and inspire confidence. From starting primary schools to founding educational institutions across Karnataka, our mission has always been to make education accessible and impactful.

Contributions in Education

Hon. Mr. S. B. Ghatage has played a significant role in the field of education since 1991. He established primary and secondary institutions across Kudachi and Belagavi, including English medium schools and pre-university colleges.

He has also founded institutions such as Sagar B.Ed College and Good Shepherd Pre-University College, contributing extensively to educational development in the region.

As a Politician

He served as a Member of the Legislative Assembly for multiple terms and contributed to various sectors including healthcare, infrastructure, electricity, water, and human development.

As a Philanthropist

With a strong commitment to social welfare, he has worked towards supporting underprivileged communities by developing facilities such as old age homes and orphanages.

His vision continues through the next generation, with ongoing contributions to education and society under the SBG Group.
